Movie: Julie & Julia


Though not everything has a happy ending, this was the story of 2 women who created one in their personal life, good and memorable.

    I loved the way the movie juxtaposed the lives of two completely different women and two completely different stories in one seamless production. Meryl Streep was charming and unforgettable as Julia Child, depicting a woman full of spirit and undying determination. Similarly, Amy Adams also played the part of a struggling writer trying to find a purpose very well. I knew nothing about Julia Child before the movie but felt like I'd known her forever by the end of it.
